Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our Equipment classes have a max of 4 people while our Mat can fit up to 8.

Can we teach more than that? Sure! However we've found that these are the best group sizes to pay enough attention to each individual and make sure each class has the best variety possible.

  • We ask that you plan ahead to arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of each session.

This is not only for the benefit of the group, but to also ensure that you have time to take a *deep breath*, put your things away and get ready for class without rushing.

Late arrivals past 5 minutes will not be admitted to avoid any disruption to the group.

  • You don’t have to be flexible or "in-shape" to start Pilates! Our team all started from ground zero and are dedicated to helping each Core member no matter the flexibility, fitness level and strength.

  • Please be mindful that all of our packages expire 6 months from the date of your first class used. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate refunds or extensions on a series already purchased.

  • We do not offer special Pre-Natal classes in studio at this time. As all pregnancies and physicians are different, we follow whatever guidelines are laid out by your doctor to provide a safe and effective pre-natal Pilates workout.

A doctor’s note will be required for everyone’s safety as well as any restrictions the doctor has given. Please let us know before you come to class about your pregnancy so we can plan accordingly.

Once you are cleared to participate, we are happy to modify exercises easily during class for you!

  • Core Chicago Pilates can accommodate all types of injuries, concerns, workout levels and more. As always the more notice we have the better we can help you safely plan for class participation.

Our skilled instructors are more than happy to coordinate with your care team (doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists etc) to make sure we work together to provide you with a comprehensive program that cares for your body.
